This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced, proactive and driven training professional with excellent communication skills to work closely with our Global Training Lead to shape our training offering. This role provides a unique opportunity to combine capacity development training and project management work. You’ll have the opportunity to work with motivated colleagues across the globe working at the forefront of responsible sourcing and production of agricultural commodities. About Proforest Proforest is a mission-driven organisation with a 20+ year track record of supporting the transition to sustainable production and sourcing of agricultural and forest commodities. We are a not-for-profit group with a global presence across Latin America, Africa, Europe and Southeast Asia, and work with governments, the private sector and civil society to deliver positive outcomes for people, nature and climate in the places agricultural commodities are produced. Our clients are well-known consumer brands, such as Unilever, Nestlé, PepsiCo and Mars, and some of the world’s largest traders and integrated producers including Cargill, Olam, Wilmar and Cofco. We combine our consultancy work with longer-term programmes supported by institutional funders, with all profits re-invested in delivering our mission. You’ll have the opportunity to help drive how our varied training looks like whilst working collaboratively globally with passionate people to implement your ideas. Responsibilities include: Support in the delivery of the Training Team’s work plan Contribute to and lead project work as appropriate to drive training programmes across the organisation for in-person trainings as well as e-learning Advise colleagues globally on translating complex ideas and concepts into clear and effective training material Pro-actively reach out to colleagues to identify training needs and deepen own knowledge Liaise with external partners to promote and share training courses Manage all training assets produced Support the e-Learning Manager in the development process for online training materials and support the Docebo platform as required. About you You’ll be passionate about our mission and excited to drive our training offering forward. You’ll be proactive, someone who can remain calm under pressure, thinks quickly and maintains stakeholder relationships with ease. You will also have: Very strong project management abilities with the ability to work effectively to tight timelines Experience in a training role within an international organisation or education/training institution Experience working closely with colleagues and partners on creating training materials with the ability to breakdown technical information objectively Experience creating and editing training materials as well as delivering training materials Culturally sensitive and ability to work with diverse international team The ability to travel occasionally. Experience and/or knowledge of the sustainability/environmental/human rights sector Graphic design skills or basic programming skills Multi-media and editorial skills Experience working with/managing Content Management Systems and CRM Skilled in Articulate 360 and related authoring tools Degree level qualification or equivalent in a relevant discipline. Key information Salary: £45,000 - £52,000 in the UK, €50,000 - €59,000 per annum in NL Location: Oxford, UK or Leiden, The Netherlands Interview process: All interviews will be over MS Teams and we expect 1st interviews to take place w/c 13th January and 2nd w/c 27th of January. Working hours: Full time (Monday to Friday) Hybrid working: Proforest operates on a hybrid basis. We encourage staff to attend the office to maximise interactions with colleagues and encourage collaboration but also appreciate individual circumstances and preferences. We ask that you attend the office at minimum of twice a week.
