Our Transaction Tax team in the south is growing, and we're currently seeking a Transaction Tax Senior Manager to join them on their journey.
About the team...
Our Transaction Tax team helps buyers and sellers optimise their tax position and manage tax risks arising from transactions. We offer structuring and tax due diligence services and work closely with our corporate finance and transaction services team, as well as external advisors.
In what can be complex, stressful, and fast-paced situations, the team provides invaluable support and significant value to individuals and businesses undertaking transactions.
The team is spread across our offices in the Midlands and London and is looking to increase the team in both locations as well as expanding into the North West.
About the day to day...
You'll be responsible for managing the provision of tax due diligence and TT advisory services in respect of a wide range of projects and clients. You'll get stuck into a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities, including:
Actively managing complex tax due diligence, structuring, and advisory projects
Delegating and reviewing junior members' work prior to seeking senior sign-off
Owning and running Transaction Tax projects with autonomy, consulting on risk areas
Leading on regular/recurring project update calls and presenting findings or conclusions arising from your work
Typically being the main point of contact for clients on projects
Collaborating with clients to address tax-related queries or concerns
Preparing sound tax advice using tax technical knowledge and demonstrating confidence in researching legislation and primary sources
Contributing to the development and improvement of our ways of working alongside senior members of the team
Assisting with business development activities, including identifying opportunities to cross-sell services and generating new business leads
Potentially managing a team of trainees or Assistant Managers - coaching and supporting juniors to help with their technical and professional development
The role will also be designed to help you grow and develop through your career journey. With access to a wide range of knowledge to help push yourself further - from Managers to Partners, the team is always happy to support you.
