Starting Immediately, The Best Connection are currently looking for a transport controller to join our busy client based in ST6. The hours of work are Monday - Friday 05:00-14:00 rotating with 14:00-22:00. The hourly rate is £13.44ph for days and £14.28ph for afternoons. Key responsibilities: Liaising with drivers and transport administrators via Phone, email and face to face. Completing all relevant paperwork and inputting data onto the system. Executing and reviewing daily transport plans. Managing driver performance and ensuring all KPI's are met. Conducting daily debriefs to drivers and other team members. Ensuring all pre-checks and yard checks are conducted thoroughly. Responding to emails, calls and other general queries.
