RPM Event Logistics are specialists in international freighting and the logistical co-ordination, transportation and support of Motorsport event projects and specialist freight around the world. We are looking for an experienced Transport Coordinator to join our dynamic team based in Maidenhead, Berkshire.
As the Transport Co-Ordinator your duties will involve providing a high level of customer service to several major clients as well as coordinating with the project team to handle all aspects of road transportation operations from start to finish including, but not limited to:
Maintaining an excellent working relationship with clients
Running the day-to-day transport requirements
Entering all transport jobs onto the company system in a timely manner
Daily compliance checks to ensure the company drivers are compliant
Excellent communication skills to work and guide drivers to meet with company/clients needs
Liaising with the company project team to ensure all transport requirements are met
Assisting the Transport Manager to plan schedules
Oversee the compliance with documentation requirements such as ATA Carnet’s, T1’s, commercial invoices etc where needed for Europe
Ensure jobs are carried out in accordance with the agreed budget
Reporting regularly to the Transport Manager on all points above
