Your new companyThis position is working for a 3rd party logistics provider who has a global presence. The hours will work on a rotational basis: 0600-1400, 1400-2200 and 2200-0600 with 5/7. Your new roleManaging driver paperwork and post-journey debriefing. Managing the trailer pool for the site. Managing the defecting processfor vehicles requiring maintenance. Arranging vehicle maintenance by liaising with maintenance suppliers. Drive performance management and communicating effectively with various parts of the business, including with customers. Managing driver's hours and schedules along with investing incidents and complaints. Support the Transport Manager and attend meetings. You will be managing 30 trailers with 42 drivers delivering in around Scotland and the North of England.What you'll need to succeedCandidates will require to have team management experience with excellent organisational skills. Good analytical and numerical skills and computer-literate. Knowledge of working time legislation with a background in transport operations.What you'll get in returnThey are offering a salary up to £33,251 with 33 days annual leave per annum.
