Job Opportunity: An exciting opportunity has arisen to be part of the successful Superdrug Supply Chain team as a

Transport Manager . This vacancy is based at our Southern Region Distribution Centre located in Dunstable. The role will involve delivering to both Superdrug and Savers brands.

Key Responsibilities: • Accountable for Transport Operations, including outbound store deliveries and trunking operations between DCs and 3rd party hub sites for A.S. Watson brands. • Work with the agency driver provider and onsite teams to ensure excellent delivery standards and success across permanent and agency HGV Drivers and HGV Driver's Mates. • Ensure store deliveries arrive on time and in full, within an agreed budget. • Inspire the Transport Teams to deliver best practice routines and logistical excellence. • Be fully accountable for all Health and Safety aspects of the Transport operation, ensuring adherence to DVSA regulations. • Manage security of property and transport assets through consistent delivery of agreed protocols. • Actively participate in the senior transport management team and develop a positive culture of continuous improvement. • Proactively manage customer needs and communication ensuring total satisfaction.

Key Skills & Attributes: • Transport Manager CPC qualified (essential) • Proven experience managing a transport team (essential) • Proven experience of being named and active on the Operator’s Licence (essential) • Experience of managing a sizeable or relatable HGV fleet (essential) • Previous working as an HGV Driver (desirable) • Ability to engage, communicate, and lead a team efficiently • Strong organisational and planning skills • Proactive with analytical skills to seek solutions • PC literate, numerate, and analytical.
