Transport Manager . This is an exciting opportunity to lead the transport operations at their site, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and exceptional service delivery. Key Responsibilities: Manage the transport team, including drivers and support staff, ensuring smooth daily operations and efficient service delivery. Ensure full compliance with UK transport regulations, including operator's license requirements and driver hours. Plan and optimize delivery routes to meet client expectations while maintaining cost efficiency. Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules to ensure the fleet is roadworthy and compliant with legal standards. Investigate and resolve transport incidents, implementing corrective measures where needed. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal teams, ensuring effective communication and high service standards. Monitor and analyze performance metrics, using KPIs to drive continuous improvement. Stay informed on industry regulations and implement necessary changes to maintain compliance. Skills & Experience Required: Proven experience in a Transport Manager role, within Access Equipment industry, cranes, etc. Strong knowledge of UK transport legislation and compliance requirements. CPC qualification. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 45 hr week + availability OOH where required. Salary:
