The Role of a Transport Manager in our Reading CDC
You will be responsible for leading a team of Drivers and Transport Coordinators to ensure safe, efficient, reliable, and cost-effective delivery and collection services for the company and its customers. Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction while managing the daily operations. Be accountable for ensuring compliance in transport legislation and O license responsibilities, and the implementation of cost-effective strategies to improve service quality. What do you need to succeed as a Transport Manager?
Prior experience in a fast-paced transport/logistics environment, with an up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations. CPC qualification is desirable but not necessity. A positive, can-do attitude. Strong communication skills and be able to motivate and lead a team. Ability to build relationships with both internal and external customers.
