Are you a skilled Transport Manager with CPC qualification looking for an exciting opportunity in the logistics industry? Our client, a leading company in the field, is seeking a talented individual to join their dynamic team based in Colnbrook, Slough.
Your Responsibilities:
Lead and manage audits for our client's Transport department. Obtain and maintain a valid CPC accreditation on behalf of our client. Support the Transport Team in day-to-day operations to ensure smooth running. Oversee fleet of Transport vehicles: record keeping, servicing, and maintenance. Handle leasing agreements and manage transport fuel cards. Build and maintain relationships with suppliers. Provide leadership support and motivate staff to achieve goals. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Collaborate with other operational heads for optimal results. Foster communication between Operations and Customer Service.
What we're looking for:
Proven experience as a Transport Manager with CPC qualification. Knowledge of fleet management, vehicle tracking systems, and fuel card management. Strong leadership and motivational skills. Excellent communication and relationship building abilities. Ability to create, review, and implement transport department procedures. Familiarity with compliance and quality assurance standards. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
Competitive salary:
£50,000 - £55,000 per annum
