EXPERIENCED TRANSPORT MANAGER / TRANSPORT PLANNER REQUIRED TO EFFECTIVELY PLAN FOR A BUSY WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING DEPOT. ROLE:
Transport Manager / Planner – Waste Management & Recycling Depot Operations LOCATION:
Thornbury Area HOURS:
6am-5pm Mon-Fri Previous Experience:
Assistant Depot Manager / Transport Operations Manager / Transport Manager / Distribution Manager / Logistics Manager / Service Delivery Manager / Depot Supervisor / Transport Supervisor / Logistics Supervisor / Service Delivery Supervisor / Transport Planner / Office Manager. RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage a small team of drivers. Route plan for a range of vehicles. Handle customer enquiries and provide quotes, maximizing the value of the enquiry. Oversee vehicle compliance. Get involved in the running of the yard and other elements of the operation. EXPERIENCE: You will have experience routing specialist vehicles such as HIAB’s, Skip Wagons, RORO’s, FEL, REL, RCV, Tippers, Cement Trucks, etc. Ideally, you will have worked in Waste Management, Metal Recycling, Skip Hire, Aggregates Recycling, Quarrying, Cement, Building Products, Timber, Plant Hire, etc. You will have had front-line management responsibility for drivers. You will require a CPC in Road Haulage. You will have a good working knowledge of the advertised area. You will be confident on the phone and be happy to offer additional products and services to people making enquiries. Beneficial Qualifications:
