Manchester Hybrid:

2 - 3 days a week in the office / 2-3 days from Home Salary:

£40,000 - £45,000 basic Role: The Resolute Group are working in partnership with a client operating across the Transportation sector. Working closely with various stakeholders including Local Authorities, TOC’s, Network Rail, TfN, and the DfT regarding collating and utilising their Transportation data. Collating, analysing, and using the data across the Transportation planning and modelling divisions to carry out technical assurance on various schemes. Day-to-day duties will vary but could include: Supporting the preparation of transport-related evidence to support the development of technical business plans. Utilising transport modelling software, using one or more of GIS, SATURN, CUBE or VISUM to prepare evidence for both internal & external stakeholders. Experience in analysing, modelling and assessing future transport demands and networks with an emphasis on rail, highway and demand modelling. Analyse in detail existing datasets and where appropriate overlay. Required Experience: Degree qualified, ideally supported by Data analytical modules. Experience of being in a large organisation working with data projects, to support business cases. Ideally in the Infrastructure sector as these sectors actively use the transport modelling software packages, preferably including rail-based experience, using one or more of GIS, SATURN, CUBE or VISUM.
