The post holder will work within the Facilities Department and will support the coordination of the Transport Department, always delivering an efficient service. To provide comprehensive Administration Transport support to the Transport Lead.

To provide comprehensive Administration Transport support to the Transport Team. To be courteous and helpful as the first point of contact for all telephone and car park barrier enquiries including staff members, patients, and visitors for the Transport Team at Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust to assist in the achievement of departmental objectives.

The post holder will work closely with the Transport Department to ensure the delivery of a high-quality service. This will require the utilisation of good administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills. Follow Car Parking Policies dealing with queries from both staff and visitors, via phone, email, face to face, and over the intercom system. Operate and maintain Parking Control system, including system updates and backups. The post holder will process all parking permit applications, cancellations, and ticket issuing, ensuring the database is accurate and up to date at all times. The Transport department encompasses the following: Car Parking, Pool fleet, courier service, the management of logbooks for lease vehicles managed by the department along with the collating of data to inform the annual sustainability report. The post holder will have knowledge across all these areas to ensure the department’s provision of a high-quality service to users. Identify and anticipate changing demands on the service, developing and implementing plans to meet them and leading in the change management process. Undertake projects, collation of information, and producing regular reports on behalf and for the Transport Lead in relation to these services. Supervisory of staff and contracts associated with these services.
