Days & Nights on a monthly rotation Location: Bradford, BD5 8LZ DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Transportation Operations Manager to play a vital role coordinating our daily transportation and logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain management practices and a demonstrative understanding of storage and distribution procedures. WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL? The role of a Transport Operations Manager is accountable for the safe, legal and efficient execution of transport operations on a day to day basis whilst supporting the Transport Manager. Be accountable for the safe, legal and efficient execution of transport operations SLA's/KPI's Be responsible for ensuring system compliance at all times Conduct regular 1-2-1's and performance reviews Monitor and report on transportation costs, ensuring cost-effective shipping methods are a priority consideration Ensure all safety records, compliance and regulations are up-to-date and in line with company policies and legislation, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices Be the point of escalation for operational management WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?
