Responsibilities and Duties Reporting to the Head of Fleet, you will: Lead daily transport operations, ensuring all vehicles, associated assets, and movements are managed and optimised for efficiency. Ensure compliance with policies, risk assessments, safety protocols, and industry regulations. Drive a culture of health, safety, and environmental compliance across all operations. Ensure smooth communication and alignment across teams and with senior management. Coordinate and optimise the movement of feedstock, biofertiliser, and intra-company products. Oversee maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and maintain fleet reliability. Identify and implement improvements to enhance safety, compliance, and environmental impact. Collaborate with internal departments to enhance operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. Lead, motivate, and develop a team of drivers and administrative staff. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and reports, ensuring financial and operational targets are achieved. Foster relationships with regulatory bodies, suppliers, and key customers. Act as a named competent person on the company's Operator License, adhering to Traffic Commissioner requirements. Manage budgets effectively to optimise revenue and reduce costs, including minimising third-party haulage fees.

Professional Qualifications We are looking for someone with the following: Bachelor's degree in Logistics Management or 3-5 years operational experience. Transport Manager Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC). Full UK Driving License (C+E license desirable).
