Our client, a nationwide transport company, is looking for a Transport Planner to join their team in London Gateway, UK.

4 on, 4 off - nights (18:00pm to 06:00am) Duties & Responsibilities: Dealing with multiple drivers Communicating with ports Using a Transport system called TOPS for recording drivers' start and finish times Chasing drivers for ETAs and ensuring they are on time Rerouting jobs as needed Checking all PODs are matched with the correct jobs on the system Speaking to customers regarding possible delays and advising them Requirements: Previous experience as a Transport Planner - Essential Confident and clear communicator - written and verbal Excellent UK geographical knowledge Able to work on own initiative Quick and efficient problem-solving skills Organised at all times
