Transport Planner
Location: Nottingham

Salary: £25,000 – £27,000 (depending on level of experience)
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Transport Planner to join our client, a UK leading steel stockholder based in Nottingham. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating the daily routing of our client’s fleet, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee a fleet of 10 vehicles.
Address driver queries and provide support.
Plan jobs onto the transport planner throughout the day, focusing on consistent routing and handling last-minute orders.
Handle sales queries regarding delivery times.
Conduct loading checks and warehouse sweeps for non-loaded items.
Adapt to changes and plan efficiently under pressure.
Manually print delivery notes and manage paperwork.
Collaborate closely with the Operations Manager and Commercial Director to ensure effective deliveries.
Requirements:
Strong geographical knowledge of UK is essential.
Strong background in transport planning.
Organised and able to handle high-pressure situations.
Benefits:
Monday to Friday, 09:30-17:30.
28 days annual leave (inclusive of Bank Holidays).
Monthly bonus based on company performance.
