Transport Planner - Day shift Droitwich GBP30,000 - GBP35,000 Job Summary: The Transport Planner is responsible for developing and optimizing transportation plans to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely delivery of goods. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to coordinate transport activities, analyze data, and ensure compliance with regulations. Key Responsibilities:

Plan & Optimize:

Develop transport plans, optimize routes, and adjust in real-time for efficiency. Coordinate:

Work with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams to ensure smooth transport operations. Analyze & Report:

Monitor transport performance, analyze data, and prepare reports. Ensure Compliance:

Adhere to all safety and regulatory requirements. Manage Costs:

Control transport costs and negotiate with logistics providers. Leverage Technology:

Use transport management systems for planning and execution. Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field. Minimum of 2 years of experience in transport planning or logistics.
