Access Talent Group are recruiting for a well-established, market-leading consultancy offering a ‘one-stop’ solution for all aspects of development transport planning, S278/38 highways scheme design, drainage, environmental planning, implementation, and operation. They operate throughout the UK assisting a diverse clientele with a range of interesting projects. They are currently looking for a graduate Transport Planner to join their team.
Responsibilities:
Preparation of detailed Transport Assessments and Transport Statements
Preparation of Travel Plans as well as Travel Plan Coordination
Preparation and presentation of technical data and drawings
Undertaking junction capacity assessments using ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG
Liaison with clients, contractors, and local/national authorities as required
Attendance at meetings/public consultation events as required
Management of small/medium-sized projects
Provide support and guidance to junior staff within the team
Taking ownership of other traffic/transport related tasks as required by your Team Leader
Candidate Profile:
Education/Experience:
Degree in applicable subject; Transport Planning, Geography, Civil Engineering
2-5 years’ experience of UK Transport Planning standards and processes
Technical Skills:
Advanced use of Microsoft Office software packages
Advanced understanding of spreadsheets/presentation of technical outputs e.g. traffic flows
Use of AutoCAD
Proficient use of ARCADY, PICADY, and LINSIG
Salary:
£40,000 to £50,000 Per Annum Sector:
