Daily planning of routes throughout the UK (approx. 55 vehicles) Communicating with Drivers and Customers Planning the loading of trailers for groupage deliveries Using fleet tracking to plan routes and to optimise fuel efficiency Liaising with fleet maintenance operations to coordinate vehicle and trailer servicing and MOTs Working collaboratively with the Customer Advisors team to resolve issues Qualifications and Education Requirements
Previous experience in the transport and logistics sector is essential Must have General Haulage experience 2 years experience in a Traffic Office or in a similar role is required Preferred Qualities and Skills
Excellent geographical knowledge of the UK road network Excellent knowledge of tachograph/Digi-card rules and regulations Proficient use of Microsoft Office and comfortable with learning new and in-house software systems The role is full-time/permanent.
