Following continuing growth in our transport operations, we are looking to expand our Launceston, Cornwall based team. We have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Planner; the key focus of this role will be working with customers to create full and part load work. Working hours:

Monday to Friday – 5am-3pm Role Specific Responsibilities: Create efficient and compliant daily delivery plan to maximise the vehicle productivity of our Pall-Ex multi drop collection and delivery fleet. Report daily the PPV across the full delivery operation. Promote changes in operations to enhance efficiency or identify cost saving opportunities. Liaise with the Collections (Input Customers) and Trunking Co-Ordinator to ensure that the delivery plan fully supports the customer collection plan each day. Book-in deliver Customers where a booking-in service has been requested. What we need from you: A UK or European transport planning background with an eye for developing business. Knowledge of transport-related legal requirements and regulations. Sound knowledge of the geography of Devon and Cornwall to aid efficient vehicle planning. Methodical approach to work with strong attention to detail. Highly organised with excellent time management skills. Strong customer care skills. Ability to work well independently and as part of a team. Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office. What we’d like to give you: A salary of £33,000 pa.
