Our family-owned business, run by second and third-generation family members, is at the forefront of the industry. With a fleet of over 30 Tipper Trucks and a bustling commercial vehicle repair business, we are looking for a proactive and experienced individual to contribute to the continued success of our operations. Job Description:
As a Transport Planner, you will play a crucial role in the sales of aggregates, muck-away, and transport services within the bulk material side of our business. Your responsibilities will include: Planning and routing between 30-35 vehicles daily on multi-drop work (average of 250 daily deliveries). Must have experience working in the Tipper Industry and knowledge of the aggregate industry. Handling customer inquiries, bookings, and general office work. Applying knowledge of drivers' hours and basic administrative skills. Working Monday to Friday (08:00 to 17:00) with overtime available for Saturday mornings. Demonstrating excellent geographical knowledge of the North-West region. Utilizing Haultech transport management software (experience is preferable). Multitasking and working effectively under pressure. Taking a proactive approach towards work with a polite telephone manner. Collaborating as part of a team and reacting quickly to challenges that arise during the day. Benefits:
