Transport Planner , you’ll be responsible for planning and optimising delivery routes, managing drivers and vehicles, and ensuring seamless daily operations. Your Responsibilities: Plan and optimise delivery routes daily, ensuring efficiency and minimising costs. Assign work to drivers and mates while monitoring performance and addressing any issues. Ensure compliance with SOPs, Health & Safety regulations, and legal transport policies. Train and support drivers, track development, and arrange retraining as needed. Produce accurate transport statistics, manage orders, despatch notes, and load sheets. Support the Late-Shift Warehouse Team Manager when required. Required Skills: To excel in this role, you’ll need: Strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt and take the initiative. Proven experience in Distribution, ideally within a Transport Office. Knowledge of stock control, warehouse systems, EU Drivers’ Hours regulations, and transport software such as Paragon or Optrak. Excellent communication and people skills to motivate and lead your team effectively. What’s in it for You?
