Reporting to the Head of Transport, as the Transport Planner you will effectively assemble loads and deliveries and resource the correct transport requirements. Salary:

£33,759 per annum Working hours:

5 on, 3 off; 7:30am-6pm Key Duties of Transport Planner:

Efficiently utilising the Culina networks fleet. Planning loads centrally for all Culina Chill sites, including Group intervention. Assembling 400+ multi drop/consolidated loads in every 24-hour period. Planning approximately 200+ collections to clients agreed KPI's. Resourcing correct transport requirements for each site, keeping sub-contract to a minimum. Exceeding agreed KPI's. Liaising daily with personnel across different levels (Shift Managers, Transport Coordinators, Customer Service & Client Support Colleagues). Proactively looking for conscientious improvements. Dealing with day-to-day operational issues. Qualifications

Previous transport planning experience with good geographical knowledge. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Proficient in computer literacy including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Ability to work without direct supervision. Effectively prioritise workload in order to meet set deadlines. Able to work on own or as part of a team. CPC desirable but not essential.
