Nottingham . This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for work in transport. Our client is looking for a talented individual to join their friendly team. Starting Salary: £30k/annum (+ yearly bonus) Day Shift: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm Location: Nottingham (easy access via public transport) Immediate start! Transport Planner Job Details:
Planning/booking in deliveries & collections Liaising with clients & customers via phone/email Working together with the warehouse and hauliers, making sure the correct slots are booked in Ensuring efficient delivery routes & optimization of vehicle load capacity Dealing with suppliers, monitoring orders & associated admin Supporting the warehouse with the delivery planning of European suppliers Overseeing vehicle maintenance, MOTs, etc. Booking accommodation Stock management using Sage50 & Phoenix Other additional tasks within the transport/warehouse department. Transport Planner Requirements:
Relevant experience in transport planning/logistics Proficient computer usage Excellent communication skills via all channels Experience in using Sage50 & Phoenix (desirable) Team Player / Adaptable / Good work ethic Enthusiasm / Ambition / Eagerness to learn & progress. Transport Planner Benefits:
