This position as a Transport Planner will primarily involve overseeing the procurement and supply chain processes in a manufacturing setting. The successful candidate will coordinate closely with various departments to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery.

Description

Oversee the development and implementation of delivery schedules. Collaborate with various departments to ensure operational efficiency. Monitor supply chain processes to ensure timely delivery. Identify potential issues in the delivery process and propose solutions. Maintain records of delivery schedules and completed orders. Manage customer stock levels and review demand. Liaise with suppliers and negotiate contracts when necessary.

Profile A successful Delivery Planner should have:

Proven experience in procurement and supply chain. Excellent organisational and planning skills. Experience investigating data. Strong knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards. Proficiency in relevant software and data analysis tools. Exceptional negotiation and communication skills. A proactive approach to problem-solving. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong analytic skills and a keen eye for detail.
