Role Overview:

Brilliant opportunity for a Transport Planner to be a technical lead on projects and a work winner. You will be supporting a diverse client base for projects across the UK ranging from commercial, retail, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities: A solid understanding of street/traffic engineering first principles and demonstrable experience. Preparation of Transport Assessments and Travel Plan Reports. Transport scheme design and appraisal with knowledge of relevant policy, guidance, and advice including DMRB and MfS. Ability to analyse traffic data, collate, and interpret it. Experience with transport modelling software packages such as ARCADY, PICADY, LINSIG, and TRICS is essential, as well as AutoCAD and AutoTrack. Knowledge of the principles of strategic transport modelling, or prior experience of using SATURN and VISUM software would be desirable. An ability to interpret the results of transport models. Robust written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely. What You Can Expect: Competitive salary of up to £55,000 - £65,000 and benefits package.
