Salary:

Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 17:30 Silver Arrow has a vacancy for a transport planner with a reputable, innovative transport & logistics group based in Worsley. In this fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to a diverse Customer base. The ability to think laterally and make sound decisions will be essential. Ensuring that the operation complies with all regulatory legislation and best practices. Ensuring consistently reliable driver behaviour concerning safety, legality, efficiency and profitability. Managing day-to-day issues of the remote driver workforce, including welfare and pastoral matters. Dynamic evaluation of operational decisions likely to affect group performance and Customer experience. Daily liaison with line managers to identify operational exceptions and implement solutions. What we need from you: Proven experience in transport planning, logistics, or a related field. Strong ability to analyse data and trends to optimize transport operations. Excellent organizational skills to manage schedules, coordinate with stakeholders, and handle multiple tasks efficiently. Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements.
