An international Multi-disciplinary is looking for a Transport Planner with solid Junction Modelling/Design Experience to join their York office.
You will be working with a UK wide team of Transport Planners that is part of a wider consultancy that has over 1200 staff across 6 UK offices. Your role will not be limited to junction modelling/design using Junctions10 and CAD. You will also be involved in projects from both public and private projects including Active Travel schemes, Travel Plans and Urban Redevelopments.

Transport Planner Responsibilities Create Junctions Models using Junctions 10 (OSCARDY, ARCADY, PICARDY) and LINSIG Produce detailed junction designs using AutoCAD. Delivery of Transport Assessments, Statements and Travel Plans Delivery of feasibility studies Delivery of transport scheme business cases Development of traffic models and analysis Analyse, write and present results and reports Attend meetings with clients and other stakeholders Work as part of a team to develop solutions Support the Transport Planning Team by taking leadership and responsibility for the delivery of its tasks and projects. Continue to develop your professional skills as you progress your career. Transport Planner/Senior Transport Planner Required Qualifications & Experience Degree or equivalent in Geography, Planning or related subject (Masters' Degree in Transport Planning desirable) Working towards or chartered with a relevant professional body Working knowledge and proven experience of Junction Modelling & Design Ability to work independently and in the team Strong analytical and report writing skills Enthusiasm to be part of growing the business
