Transport Supervisor - Nights

to join our busy, fast-paced, and dynamic Transport team. You will be responsible for the operations and management of night drivers and our HGV fleet. This is a permanent, full-time position working nights, 18:00-04:00, based from our Erith depot. The duties of the Transport Supervisor – Nights role will include: Managing Drivers and aiming for full utilisation of our fleet across our fleet capacity. Answering and supporting Drivers on any queries, annual leave requests, absences, and performance reviews. Liaising with workshop and planners regarding vehicle availability. Holding investigations following accidents or incidents, with the ability to chair disciplinary hearings if needed. Gaining a full understanding of site requirements and restrictions. Having a full understanding of new and current transport systems and transport regulations. Assisting in KPI reporting on vehicle and driver earnings and maintaining records of asphalt fleet utilisation. Assisting in the management of the Professional Drivers Recognition Scheme. You will have a strong understanding of EU driver and tachograph regulations and knowledge of UK driving legislation and traffic laws.
