Travel – Cath Lab Tech Length:
13 weeks The weekday call is from 4 PM to 7:30 AM the next morning. Weekend call starts at 4 PM on Friday until 7:30 AM on Monday. Most staff works 10-hour shifts – shifts vary.
Requirements: NH License 2 Years Experience Advanced skills needed: Cath Lab experience BLS ACLS ARRT RT or RCIS Certification Other Details: Documentation system: Meditech Floating policy: if no cases, may be asked to float – this is rare Number of Beds: 4 holding, 4 observation, 3 procedural rooms Patient Ratios: depends on if you are working in the procedural room or in holding. 3 people per team in procedural for 1 patient, generally 2 patients per nurse in holding (not for techs) Type of equipment: GE x-ray system, GE hemodynamics, Meditech documentation. Many different types of procedural equipment Patient Experience requirements: cath lab experience is preferred. For travel staff, this is a requirement Scrubs provided.
