The Welwyn Hatfield Community and Voluntary Services (WHCVS) provides support and advice to Voluntary and Community Organisations as well as to individuals in the Welwyn Hatfield area by acting as a central agency for those who need assistance and those who are volunteering their services for this purpose. In addition, we also operate the WHCVS Community Car Scheme which transports residents in the Welwyn Hatfield Borough who have difficulty using public transport. We transport to hospital appointments all over the county and to London specialist hospitals. You will also find that the Volunteer Centre Welwyn Hatfield is integrated into the work of the WHCVS. We develop and promote local voluntary and community groups in order to improve the quality of life for all. All other projects can be found at
