What you'll be doing...
You will be joining a three person EMEA treasury team which covers two divisions of Verizon, (Verizon Business and Verizon Connect) The team manages 355 accounts across a multitude of banking partners. The teams are responsible for all cash and banking matters. The EMEA team is linked to global treasury teams based in Lake Mary, Florida and Singapore.
The role will cover a broad range of treasury work which may evolve over time.
Entering Manual payments in a wide range of banking platforms Releasing payments and payment files in a wide range of banking platforms Working with financial institutions and internal stakeholders (Legal) in updating and maintaining bank signatories. Assessing the group's bank charges Provide cover for the department, particularly in relation to payment entry and approval. Providing reports to internal stakeholders Provide support to the many different divisions in the group structure Where you'll be working: In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.
What we're looking for...
You'll need to have:
Degree or relevant experience Previous experience working in Accounting/Finance position Fluency in English, written and verbal Even better if you have one or more of the following:
Treasury Experience Experience of using Microsoft Excel Strong communication skills Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills Legal Experience Banking platform experience Bank experience If Verizon and this role sound like a fit for you, we encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every "even better" qualification listed above.
