Summary
Our client, an accredited Lloyds Broker, is an international insurance broking group with a footprint in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, and Far East.
They are looking to strengthen and grow their City of London based Reinsurance team, placing and servicing a mixed property & casualty portfolio across proportional & non-proportional contracts.
The role will be for a Treaty Reinsurance Broker, but our client is open to training a Reinsurance Technician who is looking for the next step in their career.
So, there is room for an experienced Treaty Broker or someone with treaty knowledge from a broker or carrier perspective who is keen to progress. Depending on your level of expertise and knowledge, the role and responsibilities can be adapted to meet your level of experience.
Responsibilities
You will provide a 360-degree portfolio management service. Manage the relationship with clients to understand their needs. Create reinsurance programs that will meet the client's requirements. Identify suitable markets in Lloyds and overseas. Prepare market broking MRC documentation/packs. Lead negotiations with reinsurers. Essential Requirements
2 years + experience in treaty reinsurance within the Syndicate or Company market. Strong communication and relationship management skills. Resourceful and innovative. Able to perform under pressure and achieve critical deadlines. What is on Offer
