Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Tree Surgeon to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of tree care and maintenance, with a passion for preserving the natural environment. As a Tree Surgeon, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of trees, performing necessary maintenance tasks, and contributing to landscape aesthetics.

Responsibilities

Assess tree health and identify any diseases or infestations that may require treatment. Perform tree pruning and trimming to promote healthy growth and maintain safety. Use power tools and hand tools effectively to carry out tree surgery tasks. Dig around tree roots as necessary to facilitate maintenance or removal. Maintain groundskeeping standards by ensuring that work areas are clean and safe. Build supports or structures as needed for young trees or during adverse weather conditions. Irrigate trees and surrounding landscapes to promote optimal growth conditions. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety regulations.

Skills

Proficiency in landscape maintenance practices, including knowledge of various plant species. Strong mechanical knowledge related to the operation and maintenance of power tools and hand tools. Ability to dig effectively and safely in various soil conditions. Experience in groundskeeping, ensuring that all areas are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing. Capability to build simple structures or supports for trees as required. A keen eye for detail in garden aesthetics, contributing positively to the overall landscape design.
