Truck Driver Trainer and Vehicle Delivery Specialist ! About the Role As a

Truck Driver Trainer and Vehicle Delivery Specialist , you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth collection, preparation, and delivery of commercial vehicles. You’ll be responsible for coordinating vehicle handovers, supporting driver training, and providing ongoing demo vehicle support to customers. This role is perfect for someone who values attention to detail, enjoys customer interaction, and has a proactive approach to problem-solving. What You’ll Do Vehicle Collection & Delivery Collect chassis from bodybuilders and transport them to PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspection) locations. Deliver vehicles to customers in collaboration with sales team members, ensuring all handovers are conducted professionally. Ensure vehicles meet exacting standards of cleanliness and functionality before delivery. Customer Support & Driver Training Conduct thorough vehicle handovers, providing customers with all necessary operational knowledge. Deliver driver training based on a structured programme provided by DAF, ensuring customers maximize their vehicle’s potential. Support customers with demo handovers and utilize telematics to optimize vehicle performance. Monitor and report back on vehicle performance during demo periods. Operational Excellence Check incoming vehicles from manufacturers and bodybuilders for correct specifications and ensure they are damage-free. Use initiative to address and resolve any issues related to vehicle preparation or delivery. Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying and implementing better ways of working. About You To excel in this role, you’ll need: A

valid C+E category license

(essential). Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality standards. Excellent communication and customer service skills. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Proficiency with telematics systems and the ability to interpret data to support vehicle performance.
