Full-time including participation in a full shift rota system working 1 in 10. The successful trainee is expected to provide day-to-day care for in-patients on the wards, HDU, and ITU. They should see all their patients prior to surgery and, whenever possible, should be in theatre to assist and be taught. Main duties of the job
Duties include day-to-day care of patients on the Surgical/Orthopaedics Wards, attendance at ward rounds, operating lists, and general out-patient clinics. The postholder will primarily work along the F2 doctors reviewing the patients on the trauma orthopaedic ward, the children's ward, and other orthopaedic beds.
