Trust tax knowledge is essential as is a wide knowledge of personal taxation. Act as a point of contact within the firm for the client together with the other senior staff. Deal with all matters relating to the management of a portfolio of existing clients including billings and cash collection within the firm's criteria but with a significant element of ad hoc consultancy work. Proactively manage your own workload, provide overall support to Partners on client matters, and assist Partners in the management of the group. Recognise business and sales opportunities and progress these forward with other senior staff. A strong appetite for growing the portfolio and team is required. To be successful you will have:
Experience providing trust, estate, and charity advice to high net worth individuals. Proven specialist technical private client experience and the ability to deal with complex tax issues, gained within a practice environment. Experience of reviewing Trust accounts and associated tax accounting aspects (e.g., computing tax pools). Experience of dealing with HNW clients. Some experience of and an appetite for seeking opportunities for developing new clients and for selling new services to existing clients. Staff management experience. CTA and/or STEP qualified.
