The Position This position is a member of the Sales & Marketing Department. The TSS Engineer 2 will report directly to the Bartell UK General Manager. This position requires in-depth knowledge of operating and troubleshooting Bartell specific equipment. Job Description Primary Responsibilities (all would require domestic and international travel) Perform satisfactory equipment start-up at Customer locations. Support field commissioning and installation (domestic and international). Support onsite and field troubleshooting & commissioning efforts. Provide correct and adequate equipment training to the Customer’s operators and maintenance personnel. Provide technical support and service to our Customers. Assist in the compilation and content of equipment manuals. Edit spare parts list identifying critical spare parts. The ability to read electrical schematics. The ability to connect to a PLC and perform edits with engineering support. Promote the sale of Bartell products and services to our Customers. Provide Sales and Marketing personnel with technical assistance as required. Assist in Marketing and R&D trials. Provide feedback to Sales, Marketing, and RPG departments through visit reports. Assist with Sales and Marketing promotional activities as required. Conduct maintenance and line audits at Customer locations. Assist Customers in the selection of spare parts and machine upgrades. Follow a Standard Operating Procedure and complete all necessary documentation required per trip requirements. Job Functions to Perform (Non-Travel & Travel Time) Assist with resolving Open Issues in the field

Assist with supporting Field Commissioning

Both phone and email support required.

Assist with Customer Support both through email and phone calls

Assist with maintaining the 24hr technical support hotline as required through on-call schedule.

Creating and Maintaining training programs for Bartell Machines to train operators and Bartell Personnel

Creating and Maintaining outlines for training programs for Bartell Equipment to train operators and maintenance personnel.

To create consistent standard training covering all necessary functions of the machinery, that the TSS Team will train operators and maintenance personnel on.

Creating and Maintaining Modular Training Manuals for Bartell Equipment to train operators and maintenance personnel.

Assist Technical Writers with creating and updating Bartell Machinery Manuals (incorporating photographs whenever possible for multi-lingual purposes) to assist customers. Job Requirements Education Master’s Degree with 1-3 years of experience, Bachelor’s Degree with 3-7 years of experience; Associates Degree with 8-10 years of experience; OR High School/Vocational Degree with a minimum of 10 years of job-specific experience. Skills & Relevant Work Experience Must adhere to all facility-wide safety standards and practices. Candidate should have a thorough understanding of engineering drawings, hands-on industrial machinery, excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Candidate should have intermediate computer skills including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD. Fluency in English. Ability to oversee and lead equipment startup and oversee the commissioning process for projects on a frequent basis. Adhere to programs and activities that are in full compliance with all related Heico Safety Standards. Monitor and maintain accurate records. Ability to react quickly to customer problems and complaints in a professional and courteous manner (including intense situations). Ability to travel and work odd hours including frequent foreign and domestic travel. Familiarity with machine alignment and balancing. Manages daily reporting responsibilities as it relates to the position. Background in plant engineering or maintenance with experience in machinery troubleshooting. Customer Interaction or Sales Experience. General Machine Shop knowledge. Candidate should have the ability to assert themselves in an unbiased manner while maintaining a high level of cooperation. PLC Skills – Allen Bradley and Siemens preferred. Hands-on knowledge of industrial machinery. Familiarity with PLC controls and motor drives. Travel Requirements: Up to 65% EOE M/F/D/V
