We are working with a leading global provider of

testing, inspection, and certification services

for the medical device industry. This organisation supports a wide range of sectors with cutting-edge solutions that help manufacturers ensure the safety and compliance of their products. Due to continued growth in the UK market, they are now seeking an experienced

Sales Manager

to drive business development and build lasting relationships within the medical device sector.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Acquisition:

Actively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the medical device industry, with a focus on auditing, product testing, and compliance services. Sales Strategy:

Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and expand the company's client base, ensuring alignment with market needs and business objectives. Business Development:

Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing deals. Use your network and industry knowledge to secure new clients and opportunities. Industry Expertise:

Leverage your extensive experience and relationships within the medical device sector to provide tailored solutions to clients and guide them through the regulatory and compliance landscape. Collaboration:

Work alongside internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery, meeting client expectations, and building long-term partnerships.

What We Are Looking For:

Experience:

A minimum of 5 years in a sales role within the

medical device

industry, ideally with experience in auditing, product testing, or regulatory affairs. Experience in

organisations or consulting within the medical field is a plus. Client Focus:

Proven ability to build and manage strong relationships with a broad range of clients, particularly within the medical device manufacturing space. Sales Expertise:

Comfortable managing the full sales process, from lead generation to closing. You should be a self-starter who thrives in a business development-focused role. Location & Travel:

This is a

home-based role

with flexibility regarding location. However, travel across the UK (approximately 4-5 days per month) will be required. Industry Knowledge:

Familiarity with industry standards such as

ISO 13485 ,

9001 , or experience with medical device audits is highly valued. Mindset:

A proactive "hunter" mentality, with a passion for driving sales and acquiring new business.
