Job Title : Twilight Veterinary Surgeon Salary : Up to £65,000 pro-rata (Depending on Experience) Location : Cromwell Veterinary - Huntingdon Job Type : Permanent Hours : Monday-Friday 4pm-12am every other week (20 hours per week average). Additional weekday and weekend shifts available. Would you like to be part of a progressive and supportive ECC team? We are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon, with a passion for ECC, to join our experienced and friendly night team. You would be working alongside 4 amazing night vets (including an ECC certificate holder), two experienced Night Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVNs), and a twilight nurse. Our twilight shifts are 4pm-midnight Monday-Friday and the role covers inpatient care, emergency consultations, and procedures. We cover OOH for our hospital and 5 branches plus several local practices, ensuring a varied caseload while maintaining high standards of care. This position would suit an experienced ECC vet looking to move away from night shifts or a vet who would like to develop their ECC experience with opportunities for case discussion with experienced colleagues. You will be joining a welcoming and experienced team of Vets, Nurses, and PCAs, who all support each other. Our Associates are committed to the care of our clients and their pets, and we value applicants who share the same values. Many of our clinical team hold certificates in medicine, surgery, cardiology, and ECC, with two Advanced Practitioners in medicine. We encourage a culture of learning and provide ample opportunities for professional development, including a monthly Clinical Club and regular M&M meetings. Rota Working pattern is 4pm-midnight Monday to Friday every other week. Option to explore alternative rota patterns, including additional weekend daytime ECC shifts or additional weekday shifts in weeks off.
