A fabulous two day live-out nanny position has become available, working with a professional and friendly family who live near Princes Risborough, Buckinghamshire. You will be looking after three children – a little girl aged five and her younger brothers aged three and one. Their family also includes two small friendly dogs.
The hours of the role will be Monday and Tuesday 08.00-18.00 (20 hours/week).
They are looking for a reliable, fun, bubbly and active nanny, who can stay long term and become part of their happy family. The nanny should be a team player, a good communicator, creative and have a real interest in child development and childhood milestones.
The little girl attends school, but when not at school she enjoys trips to the park and country walks, as well as indoor activities such as arts and crafts, imaginary games and reading stories. The little ones enjoy story time at the library and music group. The parents are happy for you to recommend any groups and activities that they may enjoy.
The role will include nursery duties such as general childcare, the children’s laundry, keeping their bedrooms and play areas organised and tidy, and ensuring they have everything they need for the next day (uniform prepared, etc.).
Although there is a weekly cleaner, any help to keep the house running smoothly would be appreciated (keeping the kitchen tidy, emptying the dishwasher, running the occasional errand, etc.).
You will be responsible for preparing healthy and nutritious meals for the children, preferably homemade whenever possible. The house is dairy free. You should have full knowledge of weaning and potty training. At the end of the day, you will oversee bathtime and leave all used rooms tidy, ready for the parents to take over.
You should be a careful and confident driver with a clean driving licence and your own fully insured car. Duty mileage will be paid.
