TWW and Referrals Manager . About the Role As the
Manager , you will play a pivotal role in supporting in the day-to-day management of TWW and Referrals bookings. This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to strengthen their leadership skills. Main duties of the job To take lead responsibility for the Inpatient Booking and RTT validation Services within Patient Access Services across the Trust, keeping themselves informed of policy and technical developments in patient choice and booking processes. The post holder would be expected to liaise and engage the Operational General Managers/ Departmental Managers/ Clinical Staff to ensure that service level agreement activity levels and quality standards are maintained for all aspects of Inpatient bookings and RTT across the trust. Person specification Qualifications Essential criteria
Educated to degree level or equivalent experience Experience and knowledge of NHS E-RS Computer literacy to ECDL or equivalent License. Leadership qualification level 4 or equivalent experience Experience Essential criteria
Experience and knowledge in Clinic Management Lorenzo training Skills Essential criteria
Experience in supervising/managing teams Experience of working within the NHS. IT skills including Excel, word and PowerPoint. Good working knowledge of electronic Patient Administration Systems (Lorenzo) Articulate and professional - able to liaise effectively with all staff groups and departments. Ability to influence and engage others both at a peer and senior level. Excellent organisational/co-ordination/work prioritisation skills. Experience of providing training to others Knowledge of Referral to Treatment guidelines Experience of training others on IT systems Experience in managing and dealing with complaints Personal Qualities Essential criteria
Ability to work autonomously managing own work load Display a flexible approach to work and the ability to cope with changes in environment and new technology. Good people skills in order to support, persuade and influence colleagues and stakeholders Ability to absorb information and prioritise potentially conflicting demands Demonstrates a caring and sensitive attitude when responding to patient's concerns/queries.
