We’re looking for a new Wheel/Tyre Fitter to carry out the safe removal and refitting of wheels in our busy workshops. We offer: 33 days’ annual leave £12.00 per hour plus overtime Flexible leave Generous employee discounts Private healthcare Workplace pension …and much more Hours Full time: Monday – Thursday 8am – 5.30pm and Friday 8am – 4.30pm Location The role is based at our Mazda/MG branch in Stirling. Travel to various Arnold Clark sites may also be required. About the role In this role, you will carry out the removal and safe refitting of wheels using our buddy system. You will make sure wheels are uplifted and delivered to the site in a timely manner and remove and refit tyres when necessary. We’re looking for someone who has a passion for customer service and genuinely enjoys exceeding customer expectations to create positive outcomes. Day-to-day duties Coordinate with management and supervisors to ensure wheels are picked up and dropped off to meet SLAs Drive to and from sites within an approximate 50-mile radius Communicate with the staff at sites in a professional manner Remove alloys and take to the Bodyshop/SMART Repair departments Refit the wheels when back at the site using our buddy system Remove and refit tyres using the tyre changer and balancer Work as part of a team to ensure all the above is carried out effectively Essential skills A high level of accuracy and the ability to multi-task Highly organised Strong communication Ability to work as part of a team Driven to meet goals and customer expectations Can handle a role that’s physically demanding It would be preferable if you have experience of removing wheels and tyres, but this is not essential and full training will be provided.
