Base pay range
Morgan Philips is working with a Technology Services business who require a UK Accounting Manager. The role, which reports to the Regional Finance Director, will be responsible for accounting, tax, treasury, internal control, and audit, and will manage a team of 2 people initially (potential to grow). The company is growing quickly and going through some significant internal change, so this role requires someone highly autonomous and adaptable, able to lead the team through various projects. You (and your team) would be responsible for everything from accounts, monthly closing, accrual and payroll through to tax, treasury and cash-flow, VAT, and audits. The role is based remotely, with occasional travel to meet with the team, leadership, or for socials. Qualifications
The successful person will have: Significant experience in a position with overall accounting responsibility in medium-sized business with above responsibilities Experience in international/European groups Strong knowledge in UK GAAP in all Accounting and Tax practices Capability to lead the revenue recognition process Proficiency in Accounting ERP and data management on Excel Experience setting up financial and business processes Energetic and flexible to drive changes and set up processes Degree in Accounting, CIMA/ACCA or equivalent qualification Experience with NetSuite is highly advantageous.
