Data Analyst (UK Pensions)

Sheffield - Hybrid Do you enjoy implementing solutions as part of a collaborative project team? Do you have knowledge of pensions data and pensions administration systems? We are looking for a driven individual to join our Business Systems team and provide administration teams with the member data and system functionality needed to administer the pension scheme. This is a hybrid role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from either our Birmingham or Sheffield offices. Working on both new client implementations, and supporting our existing client portfolio Completing member data analysis, including identifications of data gaps/issues Specifying member data mapping to our pensions administration platform Carrying out system setup in line with member data and automation needs Testing and reconciliation of member data Working with our Transitions Analysts, Calculation Programmers, and Admin Teams to ensure member data is fit for purpose for our clients and system automation Implementing data solutions in line with client needs, legislation requirements and our Aon strategy How this opportunity is different
As a Data Analyst, you will get the opportunity to interact with a wide range of colleagues and teams across our Pensions Administration business. You’ll work on client projects and play a key part in capturing requirements and specifying solutions. Your delivery will directly contribute to the ‘Aon Story’. Individual development within role will be fast paced, with new and interesting challenges presenting themselves through changes in pensions legislation and industry initiatives. Skills and experience that will lead to success
Be proactive and self-motivated, with a desire to own and deliver the best solutions for Aon Have previous experience of pensions data analysis, and pensions admin systems Have strong time-management skills, able to prioritise and manage several projects Ability to identify project risks/issues, and work with internal stakeholders to mitigate Experience in working with MS Access & MS Excel would be an advantage How we support our colleagues
