English, Bilingual French Intermediate The UK Engineering Manager's role is to organise and coordinate the engineering and laboratory team and projects of SEC UK according to the Company's development strategy and market needs. Responsibilities: Ensure that the Company's Development Projects are being well managed and meet all of the required objectives. Support business development through technical expertise and customer lobbying. Ensure close collaboration and technical exchange with SEC division's managers (France, US, and Canada) and their Engineering teams. Support production and purchasing projects to improve product performances. Develop new concepts and new products according to BU Technology Road Map. Ensure connection and relationship within the Group and promote SEC division know-how. Manage the Company's New Product Introduction Process. Define the budget, resources, and their allocation through the projects according to the strategy and market needs. Ensure the competencies progress of the team and the associated training plan. Ensure the deployment and application of the engineering methods and processes in line with the other SEC engineering departments. Support the R&T activities led by the EU R&T manager and the development of internal and external partnerships (Laboratory, university, etc.), including funded projects. Ensure KPI following up and reporting to top management. Job Requirements

Professional skills: Technical:

Team activity. Research support. Process application and KPI following up. Reporting project progress. Internal and customer presentations. Technical and Scientific survey. Good knowledge in mechanical, treatments, and design rules.

Financial:

Research of funded projects (support to EU R&T manager). Support of budget definition. Budget allocation to the projects, investments, following up and reporting. RFQ's involvement by creating technical documentation (CM, STE, drawing, etc.) and technical presentation.

Management skills:

Able to manage a multi-functional team with different levels of knowledge. Able to define smart objectives to reach the target of the department and follow and report it to top management. Ability to motivate and challenge the team to reach the objectives. Animation of the Engineering and lab department. Participate fully in the Company's HSE programmes and ensure that every member of the team adheres to the Company's HSE rules and procedures.

Specificity of the job

Travel in UK, France, and international countries.
