Proclinical is seeking a UK_European Tax Manager to join our client's team in Chester. In this role, you will manage direct tax reporting compliance for various European markets and provide expert tax advice. You will work closely with external advisers and the Global Corporate Tax Department to ensure compliance and strategic tax planning.
Responsibilities:
Manage and prepare US Tax reporting, including quarterly tax provisions and projections.
Coordinate annual Transfer Pricing documentation and collaborate with commercial teams.
Prepare and file annual Corporate Income Tax Returns with external advisers.
Calculate and instruct Corporate Income Tax Payments.
Liaise with tax authorities as needed.
Prepare annual tax disclosures for Statutory Financial Statements and address auditor queries.
Continuously review and analyze tax legislation changes, communicating impacts to business partners.
Participate in projects to ensure direct tax compliance and provide tax advisory support.
Support the strategy for third-party resource engagement and approval.
Contribute to standardization, automation, and risk management strategies, leveraging tax technology.
Provide support to other markets as required.
Complete additional reporting requirements as necessary.
Key Skills and Requirements:
Qualified Accountant and/or Chartered Tax Adviser.
Experience in tax compliance within a practice or multinational corporate tax environment.
Understanding of accounting provisions, principles, and statutory audit requirements in Europe.
Experience with indirect taxes is desirable.
Fluency in English.
