The

UKI Financial Accountant

for Cytiva is responsible for Cytiva UK and Ireland entities including any further Cytiva entities in the UK that may be created in the future, e.g. holding companies.

This position is part of the EMEA Controlling Team located in the UK at our Portsmouth office.

At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do: Prepare the

annual statutory accounts

(including tax returns and internal tax reporting requirements) for multiple entities & be the main point of contact for local external audit requests. Ensure all differences between

US GAAP

and

IFRS

are appropriately captured and explained. Be the main point of contact with professional partners, working on R&D tax rebate claims and capital allowance work. Who you are:

Accounting

or

Finance

Qualification. A proven background in compiling

statutory financial accounts

including working on audit requests and tax compliance work (local and corporate). Experience in a global business environment with sound understanding of global process and transactional flows. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

Strong analytical skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change. Experience working in a matrix environment.
