We are currently seeking three experienced site managers to oversee the construction of UK Power Network substations in North London. Our client is a leading company within this sector, and they require skilled individuals who can help them deliver high-quality projects on time.
Requirements:
Previous experience managing substation builds Experience working with BESS/Solar farm systems High voltage experience is essential at 132kv or near to.
Skills: Strong communication skills for liaising with stakeholders and clients Ability to manage budgets effectively Excellent problem-solving abilities
Tickets and Experience required: SMSTS First Aid Create + Review Risk assessments and method statements (mandatory) Putting people to work (during probation period) (mandatory)
Technical Training: Previous site management experience (mandatory) IT Skills (Word, Excel, Outlook) (mandatory) Drug and alcohol tester (mandatory) Higher National Certificate or equivalent experience (mandatory) Safety, Health and Environmental Awareness (SHEA) Power or equivalent (mandatory) Temporary Works Supervisor Role (mandatory) Manual Handling (mandatory) Asbestos Awareness (mandatory)
Extra Training: Energy and Utility Skills Register (EUSR) Environmental Awareness Deep excavations Association (PASMA) for managers Ladder Association Fire Marshall International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) for managers IOSH Managing Safely Substation Entry Commercial awareness
