Reporting to the Director of Operations (Line Maintenance), UMTM manages day to day UMT Technical Operations across all Line Stations and AOGs abroad, ensuring there is a clear overview of Projects in work and the necessary resources allocated accordingly. Responsibilities

Establishing a strong work ethic and encourage staff interaction and ownership of issues across all reporting areas and departments. Ensuring on all relevant Line Stations, EASA and CAA regulations are met. Ensuring relevant procedures are developed, maintained, and reviewed with compliance to regulations. Ensuring all relevant directions, procedures and directives are correctly controlled. Managing the Line Stations costs and revenue, ensuring all expenditures are recorded and potential cost savings or potential overspends are brought to the attention of the Director of Operations. Ensuring all staff hours booking is accurate and reviewed/amended in a timely manner. Ensuring all non-conformities are responded to within laid down timelines. Maintaining an efficient and effective Station structure to support the Customer requirements. Ensuring staffing levels and skills are sufficient to fulfil shift requirements. Managing, understanding and striving to improve station KPIs. Carrying out Staff PMP and relevant development plans. Ensuring all responsible staff are regularly briefed and aware of their responsibilities and updates. Initiating corrective or disciplinary action as required by HR guidelines. Ensuring that all responsible staff's qualifications are kept up to date. Ensuring all relevant staff are aware of all Health & Safety obligations and responsibilities. Ensuring meetings are established and maintained with Team Leads and Senior Management. Ensuring every Line Station store is a safe and efficient operation and in compliance with all relevant regulations. Instigating and maintaining a rolling audit, security measures, stores procedures and tooling inventory as required. Supporting UMT CPM to ensure Operational aspects related to invoicing are managed and controlled (hours, parts, engineering services etc). Supporting the Liaison Engineer on day to day activities and MRP situations. The role requires occasional “hands on” support on the aircraft; therefore, relevant continuous training and personal license requirements must be up to date as per relevant Regulations. Deputising for the Director of Operations in his/her absence. Requirements

Full understanding of regulatory requirements in relation to Part 145, Part-M, Part 66 and Part-21 – able to provide evidence. Experience in a management role and aviation line maintenance (Business Aviation preferred) - able to provide evidence. CAA/EASA Part 66 B1 or B2/C License holder - current or past (BBD Types preferred). Proven leadership and man management skills - able to elaborate management style skills. Experience of managing departmental Health & Safety and Compliance - able to provide evidence. Previously been responsible for managing customer delivery performances - able to provide evidence. Experience of managing departmental budgets and financial performance – experience/understanding on P&L required. Able to demonstrate SMS and Part-145 reporting system knowledge. SAP, Salesforce Autotime and Microsoft Office experience preferred. Additional information: Role is shift-based on a “5-4-5” rotation. Role may require occasional travel within the UK and abroad. Role may require working during Bank Holidays and weekends.
